Project Notebooks: Create system pages with a shortcode

Create system pages #

This articles explain how to create a page that will display all project notebooks on the front using a shortcode.

Prerequisites: This task requires administrative access to the Project Notebooks plugin and the ability to create and edit pages.

Instructions #

Step 1: Navigate to the Project Notebooks Settings area by clicking the menu item located under the Project Notebooks main menu item.

Step 2: Click the Shortcodes tab located towards the top of the page.

Step 3: Click the Copy button to copy the short code to your clipboard.

Step 4: Navigate to the Add New Page area by clicking the main menu item located under the Pages main menu item.

Step 5: Name this page as desired.

Step 6: Paste the shortcode from your clipboard that you had previously copied from the Shortcodes page in Project Notebooks into this new page.

Step 7: Click the Publish button to publish this new page. Add a menu item if needed to your navigation menu.

 

This page will now display all published Project Notebooks that have the Show in project listing module option turned on.
